UPDATES to Yesterday's Post regarding Discards


Update? ?on? ?Recycled? ?items- 
With the hurricane we have had some delays in the pick up of discards.  Here is an update!

  • Be sure you have all your items in 1 location and that you have appropriately identified the items in Asset Manager. 
  • You? ?do? ?not? ?need? ?to? ?put? ?in? ?tickets for? ?discards 
  • County? ?will? ?come? ?by? ?every? ?school during? ?the? ?week? ?of  ??March? ?6th-? ?10th? ?OR? ?March? ?13th-17th
  • Principals? ?can? ?contact? ?Patrick Jacobs if they have specific concerns 
Update to this post with a few Additional things - 1/24/17:
  • Admin PCs should have hard drive removed by technician
  • Don't forget to make sure that you follow the discard Process for other departments and use this form for CTE, ESL, Migrant, & Title I
  • Make sure your Admin/front desk staff know about location to prevent delays and have items clearly marked
  • Please have them have everything in place by the week before February 27th in case they get started early
  • Retire vs. Delete rule - see notes on departmental discards.
